Congratulations to Mike Smith and his Brittany Buster’s “Paco” Time for their win at the 2025 NW NSTRA Regional Elimination Trial held May 17-18, 2025 at the Horseshoe Bend Ranch near Goldendale, WA. NW Region history (that I could find) has not had a handler with two dogs in the final hour until this year. Mike Smith’s two his dogs Paco (Brittany) and “Geo” Orge (Pointer). Being that he could not handle both dogs during the final hour, Mike asked Nelson Banuelos to handle Paco he would handle Geo. What an outstanding NW NSTRA historical accomplishment to Mike and Melayne Smith as the 2025 NW NSTRA Regional Champion and First runner-up.
Second runner-up honors go to Harley, owned by Susanne Mensik
Third runner-up went to Scarlett, owned by Ross Brown
Fourth runner-up was won by Rip, owned by Mike Stotts, Jr.
Fifth runner-up was won by Stella owned by Mike Stotts, Jr.

Jerry Youmans presented the Hall of Fame - Stotts’ Silly CiCi/Mike Stotts, Jr. -
Qualifying criteria is 200 points earned for NW-NSTRA and CiCi had 360 as a 6x Champion, 2-year Region High-point, 2016 Region Elimination Champion (2016), 1st runner-up Region Elimination (2017), National Trial Champion (2014 Purina Endurance Classic, 3rd runner-up 2015 UKC Champion. She had 125 total NSTRA points earned with 67 of those being 1st place. CONGRATULATIONS Silly CiCi and Mike Stotts, Jr.
